Every month, new joiners participate in the New Joiners Orientation held by the Engagement Team as a part of the welcoming to the Averis Family. This month, the key topic addressed by our CIO, Mr Patrick Khoo, is Continuous Improvement. He also highlighted the importance of #BuildingConnectedness especially whilst working from home (WFH). WFH can be stressful and trying at times with the lack of companionship of your colleagues, easy access to equipment and facilities, and the invisible wall that blocks physical connection. Thus, engaging with your colleagues should be a common practice and it is the work culture in Averis to ease working alone.
In addition, Mr Patrick walked us through the recently-concluded 15th Anniversary Gala Celebration and the series of events held throughout 2021 while extending his heartfelt gratitude to the team for the successful virtual engagement initiatives.
This round of the NJO was one of the many memorable ones as the attendees were extremely interactive – which was applauded by Mr Patrick himself! Let’s come back in a few months’ time and check-in on how well each of them are doing here at Averis.
